Songs in My Heart

I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day.

Yesterday, I woke up with this old hymn on my heart. I sang it all morning long…

We praise thee, O God, For the Son of thy love, For Jesus who died And is now gone above.

Hallelujah, thine the glory!
Hallelujah, Amen!
Hallelujah, thine the glory!
Revive us again

This morning, I woke up and went to make coffee and I started singing.

Christ, the Lord, is ris’n today, Alleluia!
All on earth with angels say. Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing ye heav’ns and earth reply, Alleluia

I love it when God puts songs on my heart.
And now…
Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain
And He lives forever with His saints to reign
He arose! (He arose)
He arose! (He arose)
Hallelujah! Christ arose

My solid Baptist upbringing coming through. Some people might say a song is stuck in your head.
I rather say they are…
HIDDEN IN MY HEART.

“Revive Us Again” is a hymn written by William Mackay in 1867

Charles Wesley wrote the song “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today” in 1739.

Robert Lowry wrote the hymn “Up From the Grave He Arose” in 1874.
